Ajam Dental Clinic is a family dental practice in Tripoli, Lebanon, run by two dentists: Dr. Abdel Rahman Ajam and Dr. Soumaya Ajam. We treat adults and children at our clinic on Fouad Chehab Boulevard, and our aim is simple: to give every patient an honest diagnosis, a clear explanation of the options and careful treatment in a calm setting.
Each of us works in a defined area. Dr. Abdel Rahman focuses on prosthetic and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Soumaya looks after all dental care for children, and root canal treatment is carried out at the clinic by a visiting specialist endodontist. That way, each part of your care is handled by someone trained for it, and you always know whom to ask.
Our dentists
Dr. Abdel Rahman Ajam
- DDS — Doctor of Dental Surgery
- MSc in Aesthetic and Prosthetic Dentistry
- Graduate of Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (USJ), 2024
- Crowns, veneers, Hollywood smile, bridges and dentures
Dr. Abdel Rahman Ajam holds a DDS and an MSc in Aesthetic and Prosthetic Dentistry, and graduated from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (USJ) in 2024. His work centres on restoring and improving teeth: crowns, bridges, dentures and full-mouth rehabilitation, as well as cosmetic treatment such as E.max and composite veneers, the Hollywood smile, teeth whitening and smile design. He plans this kind of work carefully with each patient, because a good result depends on matching the treatment to the person’s teeth, bite and expectations. You can read more about his field in our prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry sections.
Dr. Soumaya Ajam
- DDS — Doctor of Dental Surgery
- University Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry — Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (2024)
- University Diploma in Oral Pathology — Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth (2023)
- All dental care for babies, children and teenagers
Dr. Soumaya Ajam’s specialty is paediatric dentistry, and she handles all dental care for children at the clinic, from babies to teenagers. She holds a DDS, a University Diploma (DU) in Paediatric Dentistry from USJ (2024) and a University Diploma in Oral Pathology from USJ (2023), which also gives her training in assessing mouth lesions and ulcers. With children, she works at their pace: she explains each step in simple words, builds trust gradually and involves parents in prevention at home. See our children’s dentistry section and our guide to your child’s first dental visit.
Root canal treatment by a specialist endodontist
Root canal treatment and re-treatment are carried out at the clinic by a visiting specialist endodontist, a dentist who has specialised in treating the inside of the tooth: the dental nerve and the root canals. You stay in a clinic you already know, while this delicate work is done by a specialist. Read more in our root canal treatment section or in our article on what actually happens in the chair.
How we work
- Honest diagnosis. We examine first and explain what we see. If a tooth does not need treatment, we tell you so.
- Your options, explained. When there is more than one way to treat a problem, we explain each option, with its advantages and limits, so that you can decide with full information.
- Comfort. We explain each step before we start, use local anaesthesia when a procedure needs it and pause whenever you need a moment.
- Prevention first. Regular check-ups, scaling and good habits at home protect your teeth better than any repair. Our priority is to help you keep your natural teeth.
Our dental advice articles are written in the same spirit: clear, practical information to help you understand your teeth and prepare for your visit.
